Deep Impact (Sunday Silence) the sire of Novara Park’s Staphanos sired his 165th individual stakes winner when Lei Papale (3 f ex Shells Lei by Kurofune) extended her unbeaten run to five with a victory in yesterday’s Hanshin Challenge Cup (Gr 3, 2000m). Staphanos like Lei Papale is by Deep Impact and out of a mare by Kurofune.
