138 SW for the sire of Staphanos- Deep Impact

Breed-shaping sire Deep Impact the sire of Novara Park's Staphanos was handed his 138th stakes winner yesterday after talented filly Muette (3 f ex Blarney Stone by Peintre Celebre) landed the Prix des Tourelles (Listed, 2400m) at Longchamp. The Andre Fabre-trained filly made it two wins from three starts with a neck victory over Golden Box (Kitten’s Joy), while Marouche (Dalakhani) came home a further three quarters of a length back in third.
