147 for Deep Impact

Deep Impact the sire of Novara Park’s Staphanos sired his 147th stakes winner yesterday when the Kazuo Fujisawa- trained Sanctuaire (3 f ex Hilda's Passion by Canadian Frontier) landed the Shinzan Kinen (Gr 3, 1600m) at Kyoto. Ridden by Christophe Lemaire, the three-year-old finished a neck to the good of Prince Return (Strong Return), with a further four lengths back to Cortesia (Symboli Kris S) in third.
