152 SW for Deep Impact

Deep Impact (Sunday Silence) the Sire of Novara Park's Staphanos sired his 152nd individual stakes winner when Satono Flag (3 c ex Balada Sale by Not For Sale) made it three wins in four starts when taking out the Hochi Hai Yayoi Sho Deep Impact Kinen (Gr 2, 2000m) at Nakayama yesterday. Trained by Sakae Kunieda and ridden by Yutaka Take, the colt beat the favourite Wakea (Heart’s Cry) by a length and three-quarters with Authority (Orfevre) another half a length away in third.
