153 for Deep Impact

Deep Impact the Sire of Novara Park’s Staphanos sired his 153 individual stakes winner when 3yo Intermission made it two wins from three starts when taking out the Anemone Stakes (1600m) at Nakayama yesterday. The filly beat Fiori Chiari by Kizuna, the Champion First season sire of 2019 and is a son of Deep Impact. Fermi Sphere by Epiphaneia placed third.
