154 for Deep Impact

The Sire of Novara Park’s Staphanos- Deep Impact (Sunday Silence) sired his 154th individual stakes winner when Admire Virgo (3 c ex Elusive Wave by Elusive City ) justified favouritism to remain unbeaten with a two-length success in yesterday’s Wakaba Stakes (Listed, 2000m) at Hanshin. The Yasuo Tomomichi three-year-old scored from Chimera Verite (Kizuna), with American Seed (Tapit) another length and three quarters away in third.
