158 SW for Deep Impact

Deep Impact (Sunday Silence) may have added a sixth Tokyo Yushun winner in the form of Contrail yesterday, but at Kyoto, he also registered his 158th stakes victor in the Azuchijo

Stakes (Listed, 1400m) with Entscheiden (5 h ex Le Sucre by Sakura Bakushin O). Entscheiden, also prepared by Contrail’s trainer Yoshito Yahagi, led home Grand Roi (Daiwa Major) finishing second, a neck away. Bom Servico (Daiwa Major) was a further neck behind the runner-up in third.
