170 SW for Deep Impact

DEEP MONSTER took out the Sumire Stakes (L, 2200m) at Hanshin yesterday to become the 170th individual stakes winner for his late sire Deep Impact (Sunday Silence).

DEEP MONSTER moves to three wins and a second from four starts. Novara Park's STAPHANOS was the winner of $NZ 6.2m on the racetrack and the highest stake earner at stud in New Zealand
