186 SW for Deep Impact

After Glint Of Hope became Deep Impact's 185th individual stakes winner, it took only 40 minutes before he registered number 186 when Pradaria (3 c ex Chasse Roll by Kurofune) won the TV Tokyo Hai Aoba Sho (Gr 2, 2400m) - also known as the Japanese Derby Trial - at Tokyo yesterday. Sent out as the fourth favourite, the Manabu Ikezoe-trained Pradaria defeated Lord Les Ailes (Deep Impact) by a half-length with Eternal Victory (Rulership) a further half-length away in third. Pradaria joins an honour roll that includes Authority (Orfevre), Zenno Rob Roy (Sunday Silence) and Symboli Kris S (Kris S).
