44 for Kingman
Juddmonte sire Kingman (Invincible Spirit) brought up his 44th individual stakes winner and second of the new northern hemisphere turf season when his daughter Mrs Fitzherbert (4 m ex Stupendous Miss by Dynaformer) won yesterday's Conqueror Fillies' Stakes (Listed, 1m) at Goodwood. The Hughie Morrison-trained mare defeated Bashkirova (Pivotal) by a half- length, with Zanbaq (Oasis Dream) two and a half lengths further back in third.
Mrs Fitzherbert becomes the third stakes winner out of US stakes winner Stupendous Miss, with Mrs Fitzherbert ahalf-sister to Grade 2 winner Do It All (Distorted Humor) and Tales Of Grimm (Distorted Humor), while she is a sister to the stakes placed Moll Davis.
Kingman is the covering sire of Frankel mare Ludisia within the six-strong Juddmonte offering at the Inglis Chairman's Sale on Friday within the Twin Hills draft, while he has three mares on offer at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Broodmare Sale, with two in foal to Frankel. Kingman stands at Juddmonte for a fee of £150,000 (approx. AU$266,881).
