47 SW for Kingman

Tempus (6 g ex Passage Of Time by Dansili) provided Juddmonte Farms stallion Kingman (Invincible Spirit) with his 47th individual stakes winner yesterday when he produced a gutsy performance to win the Sovereign Stakes (Gr 3, 1m) at Salisbury. Trained by Archie Watson, the six-year-old gelding followed up his comfortable handicap win at Ascot last month when gamely getting the better of the Godolphin favourite Modern World by three- quarters of a length with a further two and a half lengths back to Sinjaari in third. The seventh foal out of the Group 1-winning Dansili (Danehill) mare Passage Of Time, Kingman stood the2022 northern hemisphere breeding season for£150,000 (approx. NZ$290,000).
