Fierement (by Deep Impact) came out on top in a thrilling battle up the straight to land the Group One $3.9m Tenno Sho (Spring) over 3200m at Kyoto yesterday. The four year-old colt found more under pressure to beat Glory Vase (by Deep Impact) by a neck - the pair pulling ahead of the chasing pack - with Perform A Promise (by Stay Gold) coming home the best of the rest, finishing six lengths away in third.
