G1 Osaka Hai to Deep Impact filly

The $4m Group One Osaka Hai on Sunday was taken out by Lei Papale by Deep Impact out of a mare by Kurofune and matches the breeding of Staphanos who is also by Deep Impact and out of a mare by Kurifune. Racing in the same colours as Staphanos, Lei Papale remains undefeated. Second placing went to Mozilla Bello by Deep Impact’s son Deep Brilliante. Third placing to Contrail by Deep Impact. Fourth placing to Gran Algeria by Deep Impact. Staphanos presents a unique opportunity of Deep Impact genetics to New Zealand breeders.
