Group One performance for Circus Couture

Jakkalberry’s close relation Circus Couture showed it won’t be too long before he stamps himself a Group One winner after a close up third in the €242,000 Premio Vittorio di Capua on 27 September at San Siro in Milan Italy.

The Group One 1600m event was taken out by German-trained Red Dubawi with second placed French-trained Bookrunner finishing a head in front of Circus Couture in third place.

Three year old Circus Couture showed great fight in taking on the older horse in Group One for the first time and will take great improvement from the run.

Circus Couture has won five of his eight career starts which include the Group Three Milan Premio Del Giubileo and the Listed Rome Premio Mauro Sbarigia .He also has two second placing’s in the Group Two Milan Premio Carlo Vittadini and at the Listed Premio Emanuele Filiberto.

Circus Couture is out of Jakkalberry’s half-sister Bois Joli who has already produced another Group One performer in Celticus, a winner of seven races including Listed level.
