New stakes-performer for Sweynesse

Novara Park bred and owned Signora Nera became another stakes-performer for Sweynesse when running third in the Group Three Eulogy Stakes at Awapuni on Saturday.

A winner of her two previous starts Signora Nera came from well back and impressively ran the fastest last 600m,400m,200m sectionals in the race.

Signora Nera is the first foal of the excellent Stakes winning and Group performed MADONNA MIA a winner of 9 races. Second dam is a three-quarter sister to Champion 2yo filly ROSE OF DANEHILL. From the family of WRAP AROUND , FASHIONS AFFIELD

Sweynesse now has a massive 18.5% Stakes-performers to runners.

Sweynesse's Sire Lonhro made it Stakes-winner 90 when Godolphin’s Athiri blitzed the $140,000, listed Quincy Seltzer Razor Sharp Handicap (1200m) at Randwick on Saturday leaving the field behind by 1 1/2L and creating a new class record time of 1.07.64 in the process.
