Novara set to make a Deep Impact!

Novara Park announcement last week of new stallion Staphanos by global sire sensation Deep Impact was only further endorsed by the weekends race results.

At the US$35m Dubai World Cup meeting the star of the show was Japanese star Almond Eye, an easy winner of the Group One Dubai Turf over 1800m. Almond Eye is out of a mare Sunday Silence, the sire of Deep Impact. Second placing in the Dubai Turf went to yet another Japanese horse Vivlos by Deep Impact.
Over to Japan the prestigious Group One Osaka Hai over 2000 was won by Al Ain by Deep Impact. Second placing went to Kiseki who is out of a mare by Deep Impact. Third and fourth placings went to Wagnerian and Makahiki ,both being by Deep Impact.
Staphanos ran a gallant second in the Group One Osaka Hai where he tested 2016 and 2017 Japan Horse of the Year KITASAN BLACK. 
Staphanos only kept the very best company!!!!!!!!
Over to Sydney Australia and it was Avilius taking out the Group One Tancred Stakes, a week after he took out the Group One Ranvet Stakes. Avilius is out of a mare by Sunday Silence, the sire of Deep Impact.
